Events at the Visitor Center
We thank you for your interest in using the meeting room spaces at the David R. Obey Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center. Currently, the visitor center is not available for meeting room reservations and/or facility use for events by non-partner organizations and individuals.
The visitor center is a federal, USDA Forest Service-owned building operated with our partners the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Wisconsin Historical Society, the University of Madison – Division of Extension, and the Friends of the Center Alliance, Ltd. The partners are currently reviewing group uses at the visitor center and the types of activities and events that will be permitted in the future.
At this time, we are not accepting any reservations for non-partner uses of the meeting spaces and don’t have an exact timeframe of when a decision will be available regarding the future.
There are many facilities in the area that may be able to accommodate your needs. For a list of potential places in the community, please contact either the Ashland or Bayfield County Chamber offices.
