The UW-Madison Alumni Club of the Chequamegon Bay Area will present Dr. Mark Krasberg, in a keynote address, "Exploring the landscape and wildlife of Antarctica while learning about the IceCube Neutrino Observatory - a research telescope located in the South Pole".
Beginning at 5:30 PM at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, it will be an entertaining evening celebrating UW-Madison Founders Day. Hors d' oeuvrs by Superior Catering will be included, and a silent auction will be available.
Friends of the UW-Madison, as well as Alumni of the area including the Chequamegon Bay, Bayfield County, and Gogebic Range are invited to attend. Registration is $22.00 per person, will al proceeds going toward the scholarship fund for area students enrolling at UW-Madison.
